I downloaded the trial today to see how the Google Apps notifier worked. I tried setting up 2 accounts; one gmail and one GApps. The view inbox and compose mail options work, but not the notifier part. The gmail account says (wrong password) but it is not the wrong password. The GApps account says (notifier error).

Any ideas????

are you running it as an administrator on that PC? please let me know what operating system you are on. There are sometimes user access problems to encrypt and protect the passwords. try logging in as a different user who has admin access on that PC and see if it works?

When you "view inbox", if it recognize your passwords and automatically log you in the gmail and Google apps; it means that passwords are right.

I am running Vista, all service packs and updates installed.

I tried running under my account and the local admin account and niether one worked. I ran the program as administrator under both profiles. Still getting the notifier error.

sorry about the late reply. 

Have you got any kind of firewall, anti spyware or any other security software installed which might be preventing it's access to the internet?

Also to run it as an admin, you can go to "C:\Program Files\GmailNotifier.Net\Sohail's Gmail Notifier for Google Apps (Multiple Accounts)" and open up properties of file GmailNotifierMulti.exe and then  'check' the box saying 'always run it as an administrator'
