When is the next release planned for GMail Notifier? I'm using this exclusively on Vista/Windows 7 PC's and it doesn't play very well with UAC. Also, I get an unhandled exception error when going to the options, and many of the options appear blank. I'm not sure if any of them are really saving or not when I click "Save", etc...  please try to run this as an admin. I haven't tested it on Windows 7 yet. But i think this should be the issue .

 

Next released will be next month with Windows 7 fixes and some new features.

Q : When the new version becomes available, wat will happen for the users that bought the current version ?

I.e. : when i buy the multi-account version this month, will i get a free download of the new version next month, or will i have to buy it again ?

because that Q is stopping me from buying the soft right now :)

 I am hoping to release the new version next month. There will be no extra charges for new version, so everyone who has bought it earlier can use the same license key.

 I think this is the old version... the date mentioned on the download page is 2008, and it seems that there are no changes in the app itself at all... Please help me get the new version... Thanks!

It is far as i found  , old version did not work in W7 this one did

W7 64bit

I'm still on XP, hesitating to install win7, so I couldn't know :) Sohail had said that he added some new features, but I don't see any difference. I was expecting to have the ability to change the tray icon's color from green to blue. It's not that big of a deal, but it would be nice :) At least the real issue was solved - win7 support. Thank you Sohail :)

 As  a Mac guy, you dont want my comment on Windows , XP was ok , Vista -we wont go there , BUT W7 is at least worth using

they have got it work fast and i have on 3 pc's all 64bit from a 6y old AMD 2800+  to a extreme work machine. NEVR had a problem with it

it is rock solid even from the beta and rc1 . I would be even happy to pay for a copy when it comes out.;

MS really got this right, and all my hardware works bar an old Canon scanner (there where never 64 bit drivers for it)  

Sohail - In the downloads page, it's not clear that there is a new version. All the file dates are still from 2008, and no version is listed for comparison to what is installed. 1. What is the new version # supposed to be? 2. Where can I download the new version for single accounts, Windows 7 compatibility I don't use the multiple account version. Thanks, Paul

 The new version has only been released for multiple accounts yet. Please give me some time to release single account version too. Sorry about the confusion, If you want to use multiple account version just email me your ID and i will send you a key for that.
