    Google Apps (Multiple Accounts)

I just started using Google Apps for my domain. I have been using your pro version for my standard Gmail account and I love it. I just loaded the Beta Google Apps (Multiple Accounts). So far it seems to work well. However I have a feature missing that is in the Single Account Pro version. It may actually be there but I don't know it.

The system tray icon is the envelope just like always and it has the green outline. When I have new mail in either account (2 accounts setup) it never changes color. I loved that about the standard pro version so if I was away from my desk and came back it was very obvious I had mail (gray outline turns to blue outline)

This may have been mentioned in another thread but I wanted to add this as I really like that feature and I hope it will be implemented (if not already) in the Google Apps (Multiple Accounts) version. Any time frame on a Pro version as I would like to purchase asap. Thank you for the awesome app.

     Finedragon,

Thanks very much for your comments and suggestions. Actually this functionality is not present because i thought someone might get confused with multiple accounts and icon changing the colors and he would not know which account has got new emails etc... If you like this functionality so much i will add it in the pro version of multiple accounts. I am trying to release it within 1 week or so. Thanks very much again.

Well some sort of visual notification would be nice. Like I said, if I were AFK for a while and as soon as I returned I could obviously see I had mail with the single account Pro version. I use a Firefox add-in (pic below) that allows multiple accounts and it allows me to right click and see the account that has mail. This method works ok but I prefer the system tray notifier you provide.

Your point makes sense as to possibly being confusing to some people.

I erased the addresses buy you can see how it is displayed. However I believe just some type of visual confirmation would work.

ok what i am thinking is a simple visual solution. If total undread emails are zero in all accounts, gmail notifier will be blue but if any of accounts have any unread email, it will turn green. Although it does not indicate which account has got unread emails but it does indicates that there are some unread emails. Then you can right click the icon and open inbox to read the emails.

    Does it solves the problem?

     Thanks
